45 minutes to do a MedsCheck

It took me roughly 45 minutes to do a MedsCheck in an independent pharmacy setting. The following are some resaons why it took me longer than 30 minutes:

1) My slowness and need to develop an approach to doing a MedsCheck

2) Patients feeling comfortable with me and talking about their lives

3) The billing process and getting patients to sign papers

Taking longer than 30 minutes is not necessarily a bad thing because the rapport that is built and the relatively higher level of care ensures that patients will be loyal to your pharmacy and will sign-up for future MedsChecks.
